Deployment Procedure (DPL)

This Procedure outlines the Phases for deploying Units and their special pre-game rules at Start of the Match Sequence (SOM) Phase SOM:70.

Step DPL:10 → Preset Deployment:

Players place their Units on the board according to their preset formations created during army building.

Step DPL:20 → Resolve Pre-Game Gambits:

Players may now activate any pre-deployment Gambits, following the rules for their specific timing.

Step DPL:30 → Bid for Initiative:

Players resolve the Initiative bid procedure (BID)

Step DPL:40 →Player B Redeploys:

Player B may either redeploy one Unit to a different valid position or Switch the positions of two Friendly units. After a Unit/Units is redeployed, Player B may freely choose new Facings of ALL its units.

Step DPL:50 →Player A Redeploys:

The Player A may then do the same.

Step DPL:60 →Player B Scout Moves:

The Player B resolves the 📜Scout Deploy Traits for each of their eligible Units.

Step DPL:70 →Player A Scout Moves:

The Player A resolves the 📜Scout Deploy Traits for each of their eligible Units.
