§11.1.Gaining ⚜️Command Seals

Your pool of Command Seals is a dynamic resource that can change throughout the battle and is tracked in War Slate.

Pre-Battle Bonuses

  • Starting Command Seal Pool: During the pre-battle Phase SOM:60 → Determine ⚜️Command Seals, each player calculates their starting pool. Your starting pool is equal to a value of [X] from all Friendly units with the 📜Commander [X] Traits.

  • Army Efficiency Bonus: If your army's total point value is lower than your opponent's, you receive one additional 1⚜️Command Seal at the pre-battle Phase SOM:60 → Determine ⚜️Command Seals. If both armies have the same point value, no bonus is awarded.

Gaining Seals During the Game

  • Sacrifice for Command: At any point during your turn you may choose to discard one of your ♟️Gambits. If you do, you immediately gain 1 ⚜️Command Seal. You can use this option even if you have already used ♟️Gambit this Round.

  • ⏩Momentum Consolation: If your opponent's Actions cause the Momentum Track slider to exceeds 2+ on their side, you immediately gain +1⚜️Command Seal as a consolation prize before the track is reset.

  • Generating ⚜️Command Seals with Abilities, Skills, Traits: Some Units possess special rules that can generate ⚜️Command Seals in some circumstances.


§11.2.Spending ⚜️Command Seals

⚜️Command Seals can be spent at various points during gameplay to activate these effetct:

  • Pool Reroll: You may spend 1⚜️CS to Reroll all Your Dice from a single Test roll. Following Reroll Dice Procedure (RDP).

  • Counter-maneuver [Per Round][Per Army][Single Reaction] - (Reactive): Immediately after an Enemy unit finishes its Move Action, you may use this option by spending 1 ⚜️Command Seal. Choose one of your Friendly units that is not currently ⛓️Engaged. That Unit may immediately Displace 1 hex, provided this move ends with it becoming ⛓️Engaged with the active Enemy unit.

  • Traits: Some Units have a specific Traits and also Cost(C) ⚜️CS to activate. You cannot use several [Single Reaction] Traits during the same Enemy unit Activation.

  • Recover Morale: You may spend 1⚜️CS to restore 1🔵Morale Token to an active Friendly unit at any time. This cannot raise the Unit's 🔵Morale Tokens above its Morale(M) Characteristic value. This Action can only be used if the Unit is within 2 Range of a Unit with AVATAR Tag.
