♟️Gambit Usage Procedure (GAM)

This procedure is followed when a player decides to use one of their Gambits.

Step GAM.10 → Declaration & Timing

The player declares which Gambit from their hand they are using. A Gambit may only be used when its timing condition is met (e.g., "Play at the start of the Activation Phase," "Play when an enemy declares a charge").

Step GAM.20 → Check Conditions

Verify that all conditions specified on the Gambit card are met (e.g., "Target a friendly unit," "Choose an Objective area within 3⬢"). If the conditions cannot be met, the Gambit cannot be used.

Step GAM.30 → Resolve Effect

Follow the instructions written in the Gambit's description.

Step GAM.40 → Discard the Gambit

The used Gambit is discarded and cannot be used again in this battle.

Step GAM.50 → Completion

The use of the Gambit is now complete.
