§18.4. Miscellaneous 📜Traits
📜Area Effect (X) [Effect] - (Passive) This Unit projects a continuous aura extending X⬡ hexes in all directions. The effect is constant - gained immediately on entry, lost on exit; Source Unit (the Unit projecting the aura) is NOT affected by its own aura, unless explicitly stated; A Unit cannot benefit/suffer from multiple instances of the exact same named Area Effect simultaneously.
📜Avatar's Vessel - (Passive) If your Avatar is Destroyed, in Incarnation Procedure (INC) you may nominate a Unit with this Traits to become the Avatar with all details written in the Procedure.
📜Circular Defence - (Passive) This Unit's ⌓Engagement Zone includes all adjacent hexes. It can Attack Enemy units in any direction without Pivot. Attackers never gain Flanking Bonuses against this Unit; all attacks are treated as originating from its Front Arc.
📜Commander [X] - (Passive) The X number of ⚜️Command Seals this player gets in Phase SOM:60 → Determine ⚜️Command Seals.
📜Death Curse - (Triggered) When this Unit is Destroyed by an unit during Melee Attack Action, the Enemy unit in Step MEL.80 suffers 1🩸Wound and gains a 🟣Weak token.
📜Death from Above - (Active)
Enemy Reactive Traits cannot be triggered during this Unit's Actions.
📜Divine Trait - (Passive) Represents the Avatar's unique power, bridging App progression with tactical gameplay. Players unlock these Traits via the Godsgloom App's Skill-tree, but must select one active Divine Trait during Roster Creation.
📜Dominating Presence - (Passive) When counting Units to determine control of an Objective Area in Step OCP.20 → Count Units, this Unit counts as two Units.
📜Double Action - (Passive) When this Unit performs Step UAP.30 → Perform Actions, it may perform TWO Standard Actions instead of the usual ONE. This Traits can be used any time this Unit can perform Standard Action. Limitation: Cannot perform the Melee Attack Action more than once using this Traits.
📜Fearless - (Passive) This Unit is immune to all sources of 🔵️Morale Tokens loss, with a single exception: it still suffers -1🔵️Morale Token for losing a combat.
📜Forward Deploy - (Passive) During the Step DPL:10 → Preset Deployment, after this Unit has been placed, it may immediately use one of its Abilities that has the [Deployable] Tag.
📜Inspire Authority [X] - (Active) A Unit may use this Ability to generate X ⚜️Command Seals in Step UPK.30 → End of Round Effects.
📜Martyr - (Triggered) When this Unit is Destroyed, all Friendly units within 2⬡ immediately recover 1🔵️Morale Token and gain a 🟡Boost token.
📜Negate [Trait] - (Passive) When this Unit participates in a Melee Attack Action, the opposing Unit cannot use or benefit from the specified [Traits] for the duration of that Action.
📜Pain-Fueled Fury - (Triggered) Each time this Unit suffers 1 or more 🩸Wounds, it immediately gains a 🟡Boost token.
📜Regeneration (X) - (Triggered) During the End of the Round Sequence (EOR) Phase EOR:10, this Unit Heals X Current Health.
📜Reliable (X) - (Active) In Attack Test Procedure (ATC) Step ATC.10 you may choose up to X Dice to set aside. They are immediately converted into Auto-Successes (⚔️ or 🛡️). These are final and cannot be modified or rerolled.
📜Terrifying - (Passive) Enemy units suffer -1🔵️Morale Token if they: start Activation or end Activation adjacent to Unit with this Traits. Limitation: A Unit cannot lose Morale(M) twice in the same Activation via this Traits from the same or different Units with this Traits.
📜Tough (X) - (Passive) Each time this Unit would suffer 🩸Wounds, cancel X of those 🩸Wounds.
📜Versatile - (Triggered) Before the battle begins, choose one of the two specified Abilities listed on this Unit's Profile. This Unit has that Ability for the entire game.
