SPEARHEAD RUSH (GAM-BAC-01)

Strategic use

  • Condition: Control an Objective Area while having a friendly unit with the Totem Bearer Tag within that same objective area.

  • Reward: Gain 1 💎 Soulshard.

Tactical use

  • Activation: During your activation phase before nominating the unit which you activate

  • Used On: Two friendly, unactivated units.

  • Effects:

    • Designate one unit to perform only a Move action.

    • Designate the other unit to perform a full activation (Move action + standard action).

    • Choose which of the two units activates first, then resolve their activations sequentially.

    • After resolving, both units are considered to have been activated this turn.

  • Duration: Instant.

COMBINED STRIKE (GAM-BAC-02)

Strategic use

  • Condition: If at least one Objective Area is Contested (both players have Scoring Units present) but Control Scores are tied.

  • Reward: Gain 1 💎 Soulshard.

Tactical use

  • Activation: During your activation phase before nominating the unit which you activate.

  • Used On: Two friendly, unactivated units.

  • Effects:

    • Nominate two, unactivated units.

    • Both units can perform a Melee Attack Action, targeting either the same or different enemy units.

    • You choose which unit attacks first. Resolve their attacks sequentially.

    • After resolving, both units are considered to have been activated this turn.

  • Duration: Instant.

Restrictions: The chosen units CANNOT perform a Move action during this activation.

FULL ADVANCE (GAM-BAC-03)

Strategic use

  • Condition: Have at least one friendly unit wholly within the enemy Deployment Zone.

  • Reward: Gain 1 💎 Soulshard.

Tactical use

  • Activation: During your activation phase before nominating the unit which you activate.

  • Used On: Up to three friendly, unactivated units.

  • Effects:

    • The chosen units perform a Move action.

    • You choose the order in which the units perform their Move actions.

    • After resolving, all chosen units are considered to have been activated this turn.

  • Duration: Instant.

Restrictions: The chosen units CAN only perform the Move action during this activation.

SHATTERED COMMAND (GAM-BAC-04)

Strategic use

  • Condition: Destroy an enemy unit that has the Avatar Tag.

  • Timing: Play this Gambit immediately when the unit is destroyed.

  • Reward: Gain 1 💎 Soulshard.

Tactical use

MISDIRECTION (GAM-BAC-05)

Strategic use

  • Condition: Control an Objective Area while also having a unit with the Totem Bearer Tag within that same Objective Area.

  • Reward: Gain 1 💎 Soulshard.

Tactical use

  • Activation: After your opponent declares which unit(s) they will activate, but before any actions are performed.

  • Used On: The opponent's declared activation.

  • Effects:

    • Your opponent must choose a different, valid unit to activate instead of the one they originally declared.

    • If the opponent was activating multiple units via a Gambit or special rule, you choose which one of the declared units must be replaced. The rest of their multi-activation proceeds as planned.

    • Playing this Gambit does not cancel the opponent's Gambit; it only alters one of the units affected by it.

  • Duration: Instant.
